    Everyone has been door-dashing it seems. However, a lot of people don’t understand that not paying attention to your rating is going to wind up costing you a lot of offers. The rating is precious to Door Dashers. If you are the one that doesn’t rate your dasher, you’re doing them a HUGE disservice! It is always important to check the rating door dashers!

    Of course, there are things that you cannot dispute, (acceptance rate, completion rate, and quality rate) but this doesn’t mean that they are going to stay that way. The more orders you accept, the more your acceptance rate will go up and the more you take photos of your food that you drop off, the higher your completion rate goes up. Thus, the more orders you fulfil, the better rating.

    Now, going back to your on-time rating. Let’s face it, you are waiting sometimes 20-30 minutes for an order (I’m looking at you Taco Bell), and this is nerve racking. There is also the constant construction or traffic that can slow you down as well as other unwanted things (SUNDAY DRIVERS). But when you become a Door-Dasher, you have to know that there are things that you have to watch out for. The more you look at your rating, the more offers are going to go your way and money you will get. Keeping that Platinum rating is necessary!

    Go to your Ratings section in your app. Select “on-time rate”. Scroll through your last 100 orders. Do you see any “late”? Select the dispute button. This is where you can explain why you were late (waiting too long at store, couldn’t find the address, traffic, etc.). After this, your rating will increase. Remember, the requirements for Platinum Status are:

    Customer Rating: 4.7
    Completion Rate: 95%
    Acceptance Rate: 70% (can be 80% in some markets)
    Total Deliveries (30 days): 100+
    Total Lifetime Deliveries: 500+ (varies by market)

    Understanding these things will allow you to get the good orders that are not paying you $5 to go halfway across town.
